Is this the season opener for the Pointers? How did they do in scrimmages?
The Lady Tigers are off to a 3-0 start, with wins over Nelsonville York at the Paint Valley Shootout by the score of 60-32. They defeated the Sciotoville East Tartans on Monday 52-26 at home and last night won a big rivalry game at Portsmouth Clay 40-28. I know the Pointers always have a competitive team and this one should be a good one. Good Luck to the Lady Pointers and Go Lady Tigers!

South Point defeated the Tigers 63-54.
Congrats Lady Pointers! The Pointers also won the JV game.
Both teams have three games next week. New Boston has the Green Bobcats on Monday at home, travel up to Beaver to tangle with the Eastern Eagles on Thursday, and end the week on Saturday at West Union. South Point has Russell, Ky. on Monday and Cheshire River Valley on Thursday, both at home. On Saturday, the Pointers travel over to Boyd County, Ky. Good Luck!
