Thank you Leaving Minford.
I also want all you Oak Hill people to know that I don't think that it is Waterford fans posting negative things about where your girls are from, or not from. Oak Hill has a very good team. Good luck to them the rest of the season.

My opinion.....just stop responding to those who say anything about where anyone lives. So what if they live in VC? Mikie and Lakin were open enrolled. Their parents have homes in VC. So what?? They have arrangements to save money on fuel by staying in Oak Hill. Denying this diminishes the sacrifice their parents make to do what they feel is best for their child. Mikie and Lakin both have siblings enrolled at VC. As for Rebecca, she and her parents also did what they felt was right-and they did it by the book.
All three of these girls had one of the best youth coaches around in Mark Dixon of the Hamden Hoopsters. Ask any of them, I am sure they will agree. That is where they learned many of the fundamentals and desire to win that is characteristic of all Hoopters. While I will follow and cheer for them throughout their careers, I cant help but wonder what might have been if they had stayed at home.
I guess by saying this, dont assume that all VC Vikings complain about what they dont have. The greater majority, while we may not agree with the situation, feel we just have the advantage of following and cheering for 2 teams.
What I have noticed lately is more posters that are not from VC are making more comments than those who live in VC. The best you can do is not respond and just play ball.
ps.......nice game at the convo 'becca!
