North Adams v. Ripley (12-15-08)

Post by slamdunk »

This will be a big game for both teams in terms of the SHL standings. North Adams with a huge week this week in the league as they have Ripley on Monday and Fayetteville on Thursday. Ripley, Fayetteville, North Adams, and Lynchburg are in my top 4 in the SHL so we will see who can break free of the pack in the league.

GO LADY DEVILS!!!!

I could see this being a good game also. Sounds as if N.A. has been surprising some people so far this season. Where would you put Peebles on this list? I know they should have some solid players returning this year.

This looms to be a big week for the Lady Dragons. Ripley, Fayetteville, and North Adams appear to be the top three teams in the league right now with Lynchburg and Peebles right behind. Where will Eastern be and they have started out 0-3 up to this point which is very unusual?

Ripley and Fayetteville are both looking strong and the Sheets girl from Fayetteville sounds like a very good player. If North Adams can win a couple games this week then they will take early control of the SHL.

I think Lynchburg is right there at the top as well. They also have defeated Eastern Brown. This week is going to go a long way in shaking out the top teams. North Adams has a slight advantage as both of their games this week are at home vs Ripley tonight and Fayetteville Thursday. If the Lady Devils limit their turnovers and continue to play solid defense they will have a good chance in both games.
I haven't watched Peebles yet this year but know that they lost the Sexton girl to graduation which was a huge loss. I would say they are a year or so from being one of the top teams.

I just get so frustrated when you postpone something because it MIGHT do something. The worst part is that none of the weather outlets agree with each other on when it will start and how bad. So, if no body can agree, then I say it may not even happen or not be that bad. So, why postpone?????
