Minford has nothing to be ashamed of in this loss. Huntington St. Joe is loaded and well coached. They have been the state runner-up in "A" division the last two years and are favored to win it this year in West Virginia.

Minford led most of this game but lost McManus in the 2nd qtr when she took an elbow to her eye that caused a large cut that required several stitches. Justice, Conrad, and Harris fouled out after all playing an excellant game. The rest of the team played hard also and kept Minford in the game until the end. Keep your heads up girls! It was a very rough game that had a few fouls went a different way, could have had a different end! Good to see Conrad and Martin getting better after their injuries and hope McManus heals soon and will be ready for Ironton! Good luck girls!
