i agree that some of the things may have been a bit to personal but this is high school not jr. high...the lady marauders WERE NOT INVOLVED so let this go...its really making eastern look like sore losers. i am apologizing on behalf of w/e you believe was said that was taken personally. now accept the apology and go on or keep this up. you have already blown this completely out of hand so i would suggest accept my sorry...the kids were showing team spirit which is something meigs has lacked for a really long time so if they were wrong you can blame the refs for letting it get that far. your point has been clearly expressed so move on... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I accept. I never once thought there should have been a difference in score. The players, as you said were not involved. That is correct. I have the respect for the players and appreciate them for NOT getting involved. I felt that some of the people here are parents, and we all needed to agree that things are beyond "school pride" I do not need an apology, but I think it would be nice if people would apologize to the ones that were affected, which clearly I was not. First of all about the game, I am an Eastern fan and I will sit here and say that the refs did not decide this game in any way, shape, or form. Meigs simply outplayed Eastern. Meigs couldnt miss and Eastern couldnt hit. Meigs has a very nice ball club. I enjoyed the enthusiasm of the Meigs Student Section. I enjoyed watching them. It was just a little over the top with a few of the comments mentioned. I love watching the Eastern-Meigs-Southern rivalry games, I think it is a great environment for these girls to play in, heck I wish Eastern had a student section half as enthusiastic as Meigs.

Haha...you guys really are pathetic! this forum is about the athletes. plain and simple, eastern was outplayed... accept the facts and get on with your lives...quit complaining about our fans...girls basketball is the headline...not meigs fans...GROW UP and quit being such sore losers...anything you can find or make up about coach wolfe or anyone else from meigs you guys jump at only to try and blow things completely out of proportion. i am pretty sure he would have loved to have turley on his team and the girls would have to but it was her decision where she went... none of the girls were involved in any of what your complaining about so take this somewhere else...Good job Ladies!

Nasty comments are absolutely uncalled for!! BUT they do not lose a game for you by 17 or whatever that score was

I don't think anybody is making excuses for Eastern...The Lady Eagles were just not hitting last night...Meigs on the other hand were...I think the big issue here is the personal comments made about a couple of the girls...I think that is the problem...I am an Eastern fan and I'm not complaing about the game...I just hated to hear the comments made to the two young ladies...It's stressful enough to play Meigs let alone making PERSONAL comments to the girls...I agree with purple and gold...Keep your heads up Lady Eagles we have more games to play and we need everybody ready to play....

b ball nut is right easterns crowd is just as bad if not worse i remember last year hearing a select students calling gabe hill the "N" word while coming down the floor. wow thats not personal or racist at all is it. so if you want 2 cry about the meigs kids getting in the eastern girls heads go right ahead but remember you all are exactly the same as us you will do whatever it takes to help out your team when they need a win
