Re: TVC-OHIO 2016
Alexander - still class of league
NY - great guard
Athens - Best young talent and best coach, 300+ wins
RV - improving, saw them this summer and think they will be ok
VC - Lost 90% of team, not much behind them
Meigs - New coach old talent. Good coach proven winner
Wellston - Still Wellston

Alexander - will need to figure out the post, but guard play should be the best in the league
NY - plays very hard as a team and has a guard that will make others better
Meigs - Most improved team last year. Will continue to get better.
VC - will be well coached and used to winning
Athens - improved a great deal, but not having JV team last year may hurt long term.
RV - lost a ton, will have huge shoes to fill
Wellston - work in process.

Good Luck to all teams today in the preview! NY just took a huge punch in the gut with their head coach resigning yesterday

Re: TVC-OHIO 2016
For the most part, the previews were miserable. Bad basketball.
Expect some "upsets" this year in the TVC Ohio.
Alex - Probably the favorite, but lack size and depth.
NY - A lot of skilled players that have played together for a long time. Can flat get after it defensively. Several good shooters. Dynamic guards.
Vinton - Lost their two best players from last year, but with the addition of coach's daughters, they will make up the difference. Expect better guard play this year.
Meigs - Hard to count them out. They have a great group of sophomores. The "Minions" never give up. Size is lacking.
RV - Definitely a rebuilding year. They have a player or two that have some promise.
Wellston - Lost of ton of seniors from last year. Hard to say how they will stack up. I expect this to be tough year for them.

The preview games were basically worthless. For instance , Teams like Eastetn playing starters for 2 minutes. Coaches didn't want to show anything ..goinbroke wrote:For the most part, the previews were miserable. Bad basketball.
