ND over Eastern 51-37. Nice start by the Titans. Very solid 1st half. big lead at the half something like 30-11 . little sloppy in the 2nd half but overall a good win to start the year. MD

CLAY defeated Symmes Valley 60-37. The Panthers rotated their JV players in for almost the entire 4th period. Really surprised by the NB score. What's up with Eastern?

IMO Eastern is just very young. They lost so much last year it's just hard for small schools to reload. They just don't have the talent they have had in the past. maybe all the time those kids spend playing VB is costing them in hoops ? hats off to NB for a very nice road win. And the Clay score surprises me, thought SV would challenge them -- was SV missing the Hayes girl tonight ? MD
