Re: Oak Hill vs. Adena-----District Championship
chilidog. I have gained a whole new respect for you. You did what you said you would do. No1) You would get on here asap and admit that you were wrong. 3) You showed a lot of class by by saying " At least we were beaten by the State Champion", meant as a compliment to the Oak Hill Girls. Or something very close to that. 4) Wished Oak Hill the best the rest of the way. 5) Probably most important. You made bold statements about a Excellant team you team was about to play. I can see where you might have been trying to build some excitement in your team. Not to say that they weren't excited already, but to build on the very positive facts that you had already defeated 2 great teams already. We Oak Hill fans are spoiled in a way. We all love these girls to the extreme and have enjoyed watching them play. Sometime I think we forget to allow the other team fans a right to brag on their team. These Oak girls are special. Ask anyone that watches Oak Hill Girls Basketball. Their have been some fantastic players from Oak Hill, but I don't think they have ever been as deep as they are with this team. On any given night, any girl on the entire team can score 20-25. They play as one, with all of them, they don't care who has the best stats. What does matter to them, is that they are the best team in the State. Take care chilidog, you are a person of their word, and good luck to your team in the future, except when they play the Oaks
