SEOAL Schelule,Results & Standings
Re: SEOAL Schelule,Results & Standings
Warren... 8 9 9 8 -- 34
Marietta 6 13 20 11 -- 50
Marietta fell behind 4-0, tied it at 4 and 6, and then were behind 10-6 for their largest and latest deficit. They were again tied at 10 and 12, but from there Marietta was in the lead for the rest of the game. After half they went on a 9-0 lead to take a 28-17 lead which they held in double digits for the remainder of the game save a brief 9 point deficit at 28-19. Balanced scoring for the tigers with 12,9,9,9,7,2,2 while Warren had 9,9,8,3,2,2,1.
Much different than last Thursday at Warren when the Tigers were down double digits(as much as 16) most of the first half, and had to fight tooth and nail all 2nd half to claw back for a 55-52 win in a great struggle.

District Finals
Miami Trace got beat pretty good by Greenfield...who then got beat by #5 seed Logan Elm
Miami Trace will face Logan Elm in the sectional finals....and then likely South Point.....LONG way to go for Jackson/MT to meet up!

Warren won their first game. A very good South Point team next. Ya never know, that's why you play the game.
Re: SEOAL Schelule,Results & Standings
No, you don't know....but SP is a bigger favorite than Unioto or Jackson
Re: SEOAL Schelule,Results & Standings
The best game I saw this season was the thrilling 51-50 Marietta victory at Jackson. What a shame that there was no newspaper coverage of that game, at least that I could find. That game allowed the final Marietta/Logan game to have great significance and it turned out to be great for Marietta as they gained a co-championship in their last year in the league. I'd be very interested to see stats from the Marietta/Jackson game. I know the scoring totals, but I sure would like to know what the FG percentages were, and how the team rebound and turnover totals ended up. Does anyone have that they could share?
