Falconfyer: The game that ur thinking about was the Regional Semi's when kara went down with a ankle injury an then she came back in, in the 4th quarter. An digger is exactly right about Sherman she was in foul trouble for alot of the that game. We'll see how it all shakes out in just a few months. No since in getting all worked up this early. GOOD LUCK Lady Jeeps in the IRONTON shoot-out on sat!!! I'll be there for the 1st 2 games. Then got to go watch the other one play Baseball.

You are right..Kara never did come back in..but I do believe it was only a single digit loss..several of the Minford starters were not playing for one reason or another..and like previously mentioned..it's a new year..Minford has also played together a long time...and the point guard has a year under her belt and is working hard this summer! It was a single digit loss..as was the first game at SW with Kara in the game the whole time. Minford is returning their top five scorers..can't say the same about SW.

Wheelersburg will be getting a 6'1 Post Player that averged 15ppg and 10rpg last year. This should allow them to compete with anyone in the SOCII. :-D

They will be moving in from down South. The only problem is the girl will be a senior this year and you have the whole team chemisty thing. Her dad is taking a job in the area that the family could not pass up.

Oak Hill has great talent this year. If the post player can't run the court, she is out of place in the SOC II. Minford has better older players than Oak Hill. South Webster has Cook, who is the best player in the SOC II. Prediction: SW will not win the SOC II. Oak Hill and Minford will fight it out for the Championship. South Webster will make a tournament run.

She can run the floor with the best of them. She has already been offered and committed to a Division I university and she will sign in the fall early signing period. The only problem I see is moving before your senior year.

If she is a D i center, she will be the best player in the SOCII, not Cook. I'd also have to say the SOC II will then have 4 great teams.

She will be a Power Forward in college. Like I said before, adjusting to a new school and new team will be hard.

Congratulations to Mr.Spradlin and the Burg girls if this is true.I know they will make her feel right at home. Not to question her ability but for a 6'1'' player 15 points and 10 rebounds isn't that impressive unless she faces a lot better players than we have in this area.

Her high school team was very balanced 4 players averaged double figures.

I think maybe you need to take another look at Minford, they not only have a very good bunch of seniors but some younger players that are going to make for a great team.

I like Minford's seniors better than Oak Hill's juniors but both are very good.

3 on 3? Does the OHSAA restrict players to two from one school on any one team or on the floor at a time during the off season? What exactly is the rule here, and is that legal? Just curious b/c eligibility is at issue???

I do believe it will be a battle, the teams with depth and overall team talent will prevail, and the girl that is transferring to burg', well 15 and 10 is good numbers if she was playing at a bigger school, and a very talented team. College coaches like those type of players and if some of the teams around here and deeper talent pools, you would see more of that. But I agree it will be a great year for SOC II lady basketball, can not wait....
