Jackson won 16 games last year during the regular season and then lost a heart-breaker in the districts. This year with the same type of schedule we could top that. On paper (which does mean nothing) we were one of the top 3-4 teams in the 70 team SE district last year...we could be even better this year.
Of the teams in the SE District
Wellston is an average D3 team. Jackson is an elite D2 team.

I would like to apologize to the SV fans and posters for getting off topic and taking down the quality of this thread.
Jackson hates Wellston and vice versa. Sports junky seems mad because Wellston was down like 27-2 after the first quarter to us last year.
Good Luck to Symmes Valley!

Yes you are correct we got off the topic. I live and I'm from Athens and I have family members playing for both boys/girls teams in Athens City School District. I agree with you that Wellston doesn't play a tough non-league schedule however neither does Jackson , Nelsonville or half of the teams in SE Ohio. As far as 27-2 I could careless. Beat them 100-2 wouldn't hurt my feelings I don't like them (him) that much anyways. Never liked watching him when he played in the 90's at Wellston. I will say this, you (Jackson) has a really nice team again this year from what I saw this summer! Good luck
