DISTRICT 13 ALL STARS ANNOUNCED

The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) is divided into 16 districts. Each district will select their own All District team. Southeastern Ohio schools make up districts 13 and 14.
If you would go from Marietta down the river to Ironton up 93 to Logan and then back to Marietta you have District 13. District 14 extends from Portsmouth up 23 to Circleville and then south through Adams County. This is as near as I can tell on the boundaries. Coaches must attend end of the year meeting to nominate their players for recognition. Usually consists of first and second teams and special mention. Representatives for the North/South all star games are chosen also.

AP Southeast District takes in both these areas. Voted by sportswriters. Usually first, second, third teams plus honorable/special mention.

Wow! Oak Hill has five representatives. Adkins, Puckett and Caudill on First Team - Hale on Second and Butler Special Mention. Great job! The Oak Hill community is very proud of you. Keep up the good work as you move toward your goal of making it to the State Final again this year!
