Athens held West Holmes to 3 FG's in the 3rd quarter and 3 FG's in the 4th. They outscored the Lady Knights 14-9 in the 3rd quarter and 17-12 in the 4th.
Just not enough to overcome the 26-9 first half deficit.

Congrats on a great season Lady Bulldogs - and for not just rolling over and playing dead tonight in the 2nd half. A lot of teams may have folded in that situation.

West Holmes missed some bunnies in the second half but that is what the tourney is about. Athens did a much better job the 2nd half but took awhile to adjust to the style of play at that level.
