Maybe I should have included strength of schedule too Ironman and also at the time I made my seeding list out I only had West Union at 4-8 as the SHL records are hard to locate sometimes. Even with 5 wins by West Union with one tonight over Whiteoak who has WU beat?

Looks like they actually had a little use for SOS....or is it just avoiding Fairland and OH?

What cost Piketon the 2 seed? Most predictions had them the 2.Was it Lynchburg's past history and maybe a tougher schedule? I give up trying to figure out how these things are going to go.

Bruce, strength of schedule rarely ones into to play, unless it benefits that coach. Just look at SW in D4, they play in an all D3/D2 conference doesn't mean nothing unless they win. WU had 2-3 more wins than the team below them, so how do u not put them in the middle. They have to play Peebles twice and had to play NA 3 times before the halfway point of the season, also played LC twice before Christmas (conference scheduling). Who has the other teams beat? NW beats NA and loses to Rock Hill? West bets Waverly twice and ND by 2, so truly 4-10 is a toss up and records were the best way to seed truly this year. And LC can play do t count them out of the sectional title. They have height, speed and shooters and are well coached. This sectional s truly a "no guarantee" sectional, lol...and then you look at Fairland, OH in the semi's. lol.

I don't disagree with the seedings but Northwest just might be the second best team in this sectional. They have been playing some good ball and play in a really tough league ….. SOC 2

I would agree with toast, Northwest is probably better than Lynchburg Clay and Piketon. Northwest went in early in the season and beat North Adams and had a few nice SOC II wins as well. They play in what is most likely the toughest league in Southern Ohio.

NW did beat NA.....being 1 game I don't believe they are better than LC, but I do believe they are close. They have a couple of nice sized shooters that are a tough matchup.

NW also LOST to Rock Hill. Don't judge LC on early season, they play a tough schedule too. IMO basketball in Southern Ohio is in a dwn year, except D4.
