That Logan score above is way off...
The final score was Logan 47, Jackson 41, OT

Re: SEOAL 09-2010 Scores and Updates
Logan BB: Logan JV and Varsity win tonight vs Jackson. Varsity 47-41 in OT. Game was without rythm except to the pretty constant sound of the whistle. It would seem that on every possesion there was a foul and on every other possesion one was called. This worked out for Logan as the scoring difference in the game was at the foul line. Overall 63 foul shots taken during the game with Logan having an 11 point edge. Logan did not score a basket in the 3rd qtr and Jackson after making a 3 point shot to open the OT missed all 6 of there foul shots in the OT. A win is a win? As it is said, Don't make fun of your buddies girlfriend, at least he has one. Away at Gallipolis on Saturday. Good luck Chiefs.
Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
This week will be interesting in the SEOL with some defining early season games. Ironton played Jackson last night but no score has been posted as of yet. This should have been a good game. Games this weekend include Logan at Gallipolis, Warren at Ironton, Jackson at Portsmouth and Chilli at Marietta. This will shake the tree some. Good luck to all teams.
Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
Jackson 43-38 over Portsmouth
Jackson led 22-9 and then things turned ugly for much of the rest of the game. Jr Nicole Chapman was off the charts for Jackson with a tremendous game of 20 points, many rebounds and many steals...was all over the court with tremendous athleticism. Portsmouth had 2 girls do the majority of the damage and were in it until the final few seconds.

Lady Tigers continue to turn up the heat with pressure D.They created over 30 to's which give yoy so many extra scoring opportunities.Lots of depthand lots of good team chemistry. If this team wants to be as good as they can be, they need to be focused each and every day.We are headed to South on wed. and we all know how focused we need to be to win at the homer dome.Hats off to Chilli tonightthey play hard and are going to win alot of games.Congrats to the jv team who continues to get better each game.Lady tigers keep working hard and take one game at atime.

Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
4 of Jackson's top 6 shot 2-24 from the field (1-10 from 3 point range)....yikes...and then 3-10 from the free throw line
11-26 overall from the line and 2 for 14 from 3 land
Tough night at Vincent.
Time for a home game....the girls will shoot much better.

Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
The games for Wednesday the 30th in the league are pivotal. Chilli at Warren with both being 2-1 with the winner trying to keep pace with Marietta who is also playing at home against Jackson with a good chance of being 4-0 after Wednesday. Jackson is improving every game but playing at Marietta goes a long way for the home team. Logan at Ironton has another 2 teams at 2-1 and not wanting to fall possibly two games down to Marietta. Either PHS or Gallia will get their first win of the year. Playing at Gallia will give Gallia the edge. Good luck to all the teams.
