Very nice win ladies. Played excellent the first 3 quarters and had a very shaky 4th quarter but you persevered when it mattered. We're very proud of all of you. One thing I was disappointed in were most of the Waterford fan not watching there team receive their medals. Let's get another win ladies!!!

Wow ... I wasn't aware Eastern had not scored the entire quarter till Erin hit those free-throws ... that's crazy!

BTW - did she bank in the second FT? I was standing around the upper level behind the glass - I could tell?

MANSFIELD ST. PETER ... The info I found on them has them at 20-3 overall ... They did however lose to Waterford 54-52 on January 14th.

Knowing Waterford beat this team should give everyone a little hope that Eastern could very well pull out a win next Thursday in Pickerington.

I was on the upper level also. I couldn't tell about the second free throw.

Eastern led 45-31 after three. Waterford scored the first 12 points of the quarter to make it 45-43. Swatzel went to the free throw line with 7.7 seconds left.

Have to agree there ... very, very clutch!

Seen many of players (boys & girls) miss at least one - and a lot of times both - of those free throws when the pressure is on.

I agree. I don't know how many free throws I've seen missed at the convo this week. This was a huge win for such a young team. And with Mansfield losing to Waterford this year we should go in with some confidence
