4 teams from Meigs make it to sectional finals, 4 teams from Northwest make it to sectional finals. Only those who win move on and neither sectional is given a certain number of teams going into districts. It could be four Teams from the Meigs sectional that go to district.

You two are confusing me a touch.

Will there be 1 or 2 SE district D4 teams advancing to the regionals?

It might not happen before the state semis....but would love to see Eastern Meigs and Fayetteville meet up in the tourney....but Fayetteville has a tough road going through the SW

8 from sectional finals to district, 4 from district semi-finals to district finals, that leave 2 from district finals to regionals. So to answer your question 2 D4 teams from the south east will go on to regionals.
You might also want to check on Fayetteville, I believe they are DIII.

4 teams making each sectional final site would be 4 teams in the district and 1 advancing to regional...this is why I asked

Fayetteville 114 boys, 132 girls

Their girls soccer and basketball teams successes possibly have put them over in to D3

No, there are 8 sectional final games. That send the eight winners to four district semi-final games, which sends four winners to the district finals, which sends 2 winners to regionals. The southeast sends 2 teams to regionals.

esully....I know

Your first post about it said 4 teams to the sectional finals at Meigs....that would mean 2 teams advance to districts from Meigs sectional

Regardless....we both know how many are advancing

I'm sorry it can get a bit confusing. What I was talking about was the fact that the district is split between east and west (northwest/Meigs). When the brackets are set there are teams from bothe east and west in each bracket. Each bracket sends a winner to regionals. So both teams sent to regionals could be from the Meigs group.

I think South Webster could easily be overlooked in D-4. I know they're record isn't what they would like, but they have as much athletic talent as anyone. In fact, for all the love for Eastern Pike, I think the Jeeps beat them by a lot. Meshing the young kids with the upperclassmen is difficult as you can see from watching them, but if they get it together at tourney time...they're a power.

Waterford is pretty good, MD.

As long as a Drayer and a Brown are still on the floor - they can't be counted out ... I'm sure they will run out of them sooner or later ... lol ... but not anytime soon.

hoping someone from scioto/pike co can break the Waterford/ Eastern R stranglehold .... but until our area learns to press and handle a press ( play fast) it isnt going to happen. We( in general "we" ) play in slow motion. .

on another note ND is at Valley tomorrow and host Eastern Pike on Monday .. will tell where ND and Eastern stand . If we dont rotate a guard back Valley will shoot a lot of layups . MD

I will go with ND in this game, just because JD is their coach ;-)

Best I've seen. Fairland is hands down the best team in Lawrence County area and should go top five. I can't say that Ironton is the second best after South Point handled them earlier in the season, but neither SP nor Ironton deserve to be top 10. This is quality top ten based on teams I know.
