Refs didn’t help the matter much either, honestly would like to see the stats of fouls against us and then against Napoleon! Not to take away from Napoleon they were a great team, but the girls didn’t play VC basketball I think we only made 3 3’s all game our girls didn’t shoot well at all

Listen, we have all been in your shoes. I agree that losing isn’t any fun but when our teams don’t do certain things well that they have done well all year, it usually has something to do with the team we are playing. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, VC had a great season and came up just short of a state championship. I think the hardest thing about it is you know how hard you worked to get there and you know getting back to it won’t be easy. These types of teams don’t come around to often and VC made the best of it when they got a group that bought in. Good luck next year.

These students whether it's young ladies or young men dedicate a lot of their time to their Sports. The lessons learned from participation in whatever the venue may be by the students, helps prepare them for their future lives as adults. Winning and losing our great lesson teachers, congratulations to these young ladies of Vinton County my hat is off to them.
