Oak Hill Lady Oaks vs. South Webster Lady Jeeps

Cook is an amazing talent and I think she has an even bigger heart. She wills her team to alot of wins on her own. When she was hurt they missed her game but they missed her leadership even more.
They were down I believe 4 win that happened and Oak Hill was about to finish the deal. Cook did exactly what she should have done. If the ref doesn't call it, fine, if he does then you are only down 1.

Hats off to both TEAMS GREAT GAME!!!! Cant wait till the next meeting. An as far as that foul on Kayla at the end of the game great acting job? Maybe. Sometimes, a GOOD Player just has to do those kind of things. If I was from Oak Hill I wouldnt complain to much about it cause that was ONLY the 2nd foul called on Ur team the WHOLE 2nd half. Oak Hill is a VERY VERY good team Congrads on the win. See Ya in 9 DAYS!!!

I think Oak Hill learned a little bit about fouling in their last game, which caused a big turnaround in their amount of fouls.

Great job by both teams! It was a battle from tip off down to the last minute of the game when Oaks are up by 2 and the Jeeps have to go into foul mode to extend the game for more opertunities. Wow! What an awsome game! Cant wait to watch the next one!

Lady oaks fan, you say cook is cocky! Who cares! Could the Oaks stop her? No! She had over 30 last night and she is being heavily watched by Division 1 colleges as a Junior! I would probably be a little cocky myself! Whether it was acting or not, she made something happen for the team! And like was posted before 2 fouls in second half for the Oaks and 14 for Webster. Even the fouls up and it might have been webster by 10 because the Oaks would have to extend the game by sending webster to the line. How about Oaks by 2 with a little over a minute left, the Oaks end bound the ball, webster traps, the oak hill player with the ball falls down and slides about 2 ft and they give her a timeout instead of a traveling violation. Not complaining at all, just wanting you to understand a very close game like that could have went either way and unfortunatly for the Jeeps the Oaks got the win. So please dont try to paint a picture that the Oaks were in control of the game because with a minute left no one actually knew who was gonna pull that one out!
Two great teams battling like that the entire contest, coming down to the end
is what it is all about! I am proud of both teams because it shows that we have some great talent here in southern ohio!

actually she was dribbling when going to the ground,(only one dribble, but that is all you need to have) which is allowed. Then she picked the ball up and called timeout.

The fouls were the way they were because Oak Hill took the ball to the basket and Webster lived for the three the only time I saw a lay up shot by them was off a rebound or maybe a fast break and that was usually a three or a jump shot... Oak Hill didn't foul, Webster did. That simple. Also, that was a legal move if you continue to dribble even as your going to the floor if you know anything about basketball you know that it is not a travel and I have even seen many players fall to the floor continue to dribble and then get back up dribbling and keep going. She didn't slide whatsoever just sat down and called a time out. Smart play! Either way OAK HILL WON! WAY TO GO!!!

I believe i stated that she was a good player. No doubt she will be in Div 1 ball and as far as saying Oak Hill controlled the game last night, I do not believe i said that. It was a hard played game on both sides. And I expect next week's game to be more of the same. The officiating was a bit suspect on both sides.

South Jeepster...rankings dont mean anything..but i can assure you that if you would have had cook the whole year you guys would be ranked in D4 or i would call BS...last night was a great game..i only got to see the 1st and 4th quater because my jr high girls were playing in the other gym..cant wait until the next game...cook VERY impressive..hope the game is just as good in oak hill with us coming out on top of course..but south webster will make a deep tourney run and i wish you guys the best of luck!

the only call i didnt like last night was the pop bottle thrown onto the floor from the webster side and the ref told whoever threw it to leave then just let it go...CLASSLESS act by whoever threw it..way to set an example to your girls your cheering for..your school and your community!

seemed like she couldnt miss; and t queen really stepped up and hit some big shots sherman dominated the boards in 1st half great job jeeps
something i noticed that i havent seen anyone mention is the poise oak hill had;as close as the game was and as many lead changes they never seemed to be really shaken im not saying they couldnt have lost but when you looked at them they seemed to never get out of control
another thing is oak hill must have had every starter in double digits or close
i know for sure they had 3 players with over 15 each adkins hale and puckett i think
and im not sure how many assists adkins had it may have been over ten

no sense tarnishing a great game with complaining about calls or no calls it was too good of a game to start that!

It was a GREAT game. Sure it will be a great one in Oak Hill also. It was back and forth the whole game, excellent play from both sides. I agree w/ Crazee on the throwing bottles, pretty childish, hopefully it was a child that threw it.

No this was not a child sadly, though it wasn't the man standing up at the time (who everyone thought it was). Everyone was standing up and him being of age, (no offence) was just slow at sitting back down. If whoever threw that bottle is reading this, that is just embarrassing to Webster' fans. I don't see what chucking a Mountain Dew bottle at a ref's head is going to do. Honesty, that is ridiculous.

Whoever it was, he or she doesn't belong in the Webster crowd. I've spent some time observing Webster's schools, as an intern, and they are the friendliest bunch of people you could ask for. Whoever was on the visitor's side that seen the nutcase throw the bottle, please don't get the wrong impression. South Webster does not stand for that kind of childish behavior. Kudos to South Webster from an Oak Hill fan.

No it wasn't the man who got thrown out. But thank you very much for the compliment. Everybody has that one person who makes the whole group look bad.

And to the person who said that the ref just let the bottle situation go, he had no choice. The ref did not tell the person who threw it to leave for the ref had no clue who threw it. Therefore he had to just let it go.
