Gonna take a lock down defense with help on both these girls.

When the game is close late, Dawson will take the ball to the hole every trip down the floor.

She just might lead the state in free throws just because of this.

McClain gives up very few points...but also don't score very many.

she'll be getting charges called against her then because McClain plays very good help def and are not afraid to get ran over to take a charge.

Didn't mention her running over people, she's a smart player, and draws fouls.

She doesnt have many charge calls on her. Terrific body control. Tremendous athlete. She knows when to pull up for the jumper too. Doesnt hurt to have a Brown sitting out there waiting for the kick out either. Dawson is a great kid as well. She deserves all the props she gets. I know very few girls that have worked harder than her in the off seasons. Good Luck to Marietta and that worthless Coach Cozzens. Just kidding Scott. :122249

Marietta's going to have to win this game with their defense! Good McClain team that doesn't force the issue. Marietta does force the issue with pressure defense and uptempo offense. Clashing styles should make for a good game! Marietta's freshmen may be the difference, not only this game but in games to come.

Don't think that McClain can't play with Marietta... 6 seniors and a freshman that is the most dynamic player for them. A lot of good team have gone down to the Lady Tigers. Should be a great game! Go McCLAIN!!!!

One GREAT thing McClain has going for them is Coach Overstake! Certainly one of the finest coaches around - not sure who has the most talent between these teams but Dennis WILL have his kids prepared. Good luck McClain

This is not the same Marietta team for most of the year. Lost two of top four guards and haven't played close to same level since. Should be a good game hope for no injuries, enough of those already.

Mariettas top 2 guards remain and are hard to stop. These girls and this Tiger team are resillient and will do what it takes to bring home a win! Good Luck to Marietta!
