This evening JHS grad, Marshall University standout softball player, current jr high girls coach in Jackson and recently hired JHS varsity softball coach Emileigh Cooper was killed in a 4 vehicle wreck on route 35 late this afternoon. I believe she was only 22.
Prayers to the Coopers and their large extended family.

Thoughts and prayers to the Cooper family.
I didn't really have the privilege of knowing Emileigh, but I've heard so many good things about her from those who did know her well. She was an outstanding athlete, student, and an even better person. So sad to hear that she is gone at such a young age. She has had a positive influence on so many people in the Jackson community, and she will certainly be missed.

Prayers from Ross County. I also didn't have the privilege to know her, but I do know that she made an extremely positive impact on everyone she was around. It is a great loss for the Jackson community.
