I can't predict this years team, they lost some key players but they also have some very good players returning,Mr.Spradlin is one of the better coaches in this league,a fine person, always the gentleman.His team usually plays aggressive and tough, very good defensivly and team players, always well coached.

HIS SON WAS A FINE BALL PLAYER TOO. BURG USUALLY TOUGH, I WAS WONDERING MYSELF WHAT KIND OF TALENT THEY WOULD HAVE THIS YEAR?

They have a few freshman coming up that are excellent players Erica Schmidt & Loran Spradlin.. It wouldn't surprise me any that Erica will play Varisty as a Freshman she is a awesome athlete but basketball is her "game"..Good Luck this year Lady Pirates!!

Heard they will scrimmage Peebles, not sure about the date.

Found out that they do have a scrimmage with Peebles this Friday (11/7) but do not know the time.

They have three seniors: Lainee Clay*, Sarah Schmidt* and Jamie Clevenger+. All three have been starters in the past and I would not be surprise to see all three starting this year.
Juniors include: Katie Knapp+, Logan Barrick*, Lauren Jones, Brittany Prater and Meagan Lang.
There is some real talent in the Freshman and sophomore classes. I suspect that Molly Knapp+, Kalyn Bailey+, Corey Turner (sophomores) and, Erica Schmidt+ and Sadie Rudy (freshmen) all may see some varsity time.
Other sophomores returning include: Rachel Allen, Katherine MacDonald and Erika Blair. Freshmen: Loran Spradlin and at least one other. I don't know all the names yet. But I will learn.
A lot of guard-style players. They could play an up tempo game if need be.
