It’ll be Ladies’ Day.

The Ironton Shootout will be held Saturday at the Conley Sports Center featuring four quality girls’ games plus the Ironton boys and a talented opponent.

Ironton’s boys face Columbus Horizon Science. The Hawks (7-4) were 19-3 last season and advanced to the district finals.

The Lady Tigers continue to play their tough schedule against Cabell Midland, the largest school in West Virginia.

The unbeaten Fairland Lady Dragons take on East Carter and South Point faces the 3-point shooting of Boyd County.

The state-ranked Oak Hill Lady Oaks are going against Ashland in what is expected to be a classic matchup.

Here is the schedule:

1:30 Fairland vs. East Carter, Ky.

3:15 South Point vs. Boyd County, Ky.

5:00 Ironton boys vs. Columbus Horizon Science

6:45 Oak Hill vs Ashland, Ky
.

8:30 Ironton vs. Cabell Midland, W.Va.

I hear they are down a starter due to an injury, huge loss for OH if she can't play.

Good day for the ovc girls teams. Congrats to fairland and south point!! Also this columbus team looks impressive. Hope the tigers are ready. On a side note, is it legal for a team to film the game of another team that they are not playing but soon will be? Just wondering?
