Eastern needs a win to split it. Waterford has played some tougher games and that is a huge advantage. Hopefully we can pack the nest Thursday night. Should be one of the best games of the year.

Does Eastern have a stage? I like having a spot I can get away from the crowd to take photos of the game ... Down at Waterford, there was basically no place to sit - I was able to hover around the stage and take pics and watch the action.

93 - Typically, for the boys games, you have to "buy" a spot to sit on a chair up on the stage (behind the players bench). If you have never been in Eastern's gym, you are in for an interesting atmosphere. While it is not the smallest HS gym I've ever been in, it comes awfully doggone close.....

Hopefully, Rick Edwards will give you a free pass and let you up on the stage to shoot photos.

Buy a spot? Really? They got scalpers or what??? lol

Didn't know I was going to an Ohio State/Michigan game??? What are we talking here to 'scalp' a seat ... $10.00, 20.00???

Due to the pole in the middle of the bleachers people can pay $20 a year and get a stage seat. I'm sure they'd let u sit on the stage for free for the girls game

I will take Waterford in this one. Eastern has only played 2 teams that are worth anything and lost both. Waterford sweeps them and takes the TVC although a rematch is on the horizion in the District Championship Game.

29 turnovers for eastern (most were unforced) and Burdette with another bad game. Waterford outplayed us tonight. Congrats to brown on her 1000th point. Can't wait for the rematch!

Hard to win with so many mental mistakes. Only losing by 5 despite 29 turnovers doesn't make me feel as bad. Can't wait for a potential rematch come tourney time

Must not have been too bad - she was the Eagles leading scorer with 13.

On the other hand - she had almost 30 the last time they played each other ... But it happens with 15, 16 year old kids ... I doubt you see any bad games out of her when she becomes a senior.

Spot on, Bulldog. And throw in the 29 turnovers (HOLY COW!). Their games are only going to get tighter from this point on, I believe.......

Its the difference between the two teams super trooper ... Last year, Eastern had the senior leadership of Emeri Connery and Bev Maxson and they had the upper hand on Waterford ... This year, Waterford has 4 seniors, including Emily Brown, and it appears to be why the Wildcats have been able to beat Eastern ... They are more seasoned, are playing with more poise and have been able to take care of a much younger Eagles team.
