The Alexander Lady Spartan Basketball Team will host a Chinese auction during preview games at Alexander High School on Friday, November 21. There will be many items in the auction! We will have a Longaberger basket (2008 Wrap It Up Christmas Basket) http://ic.longaberger.com/ecommerce/con ... d=61660SET (lid not included) and a Middleton doll to raffle off. We will also have a bake sale. All proceeds will help the team with the expenses to travel to Juneau, Alaska to participate in the Capital City Classic holiday tournament.

Everyone is welcome! If you choose only to attend the auction, you can do that. The auction will be in the middle school gym (next to the high school gym where the games are being played). However, you must have an admission ticket stub to enter the gym to watch the preview games.

Please come and support the ladies and help them with the expenses of this once-in-a-lifetime experience!!

sportsmom.......Not speaking for the paper because I don't work for them, but did anyone from the Alexander athletic department send information about the preview to the paper?

Here in Jackson County, as far as the Southern Ohio Conference previews, I was e-mailed that information for our paper.

The Athens Mess usually knows when the previews are, whether they find out themselves or if someone lets them know.
