Ranking the TVC-Ohio and the TVC-Hocking together ...

I hate to rank teams anymore, but what the heck, they always make for great conversation ...

#1 ... The Alexander Spartans - They are just to deep, to loaded for any team in the TVC to dethrone.

#2 ... Waterford - I haven't seen em play yet, just guessing here and going off last year and what people are saying about them this season.

#3 ... Federal Hocking - I like this team probably more than others. Dunfee and Butcher are dynamic together.

#4 ... Nelsonville-York - Kim Kline, nuff said.

#5 ... Vinton County - Yet to see them either, but I have been told they are solid.

#6 ... Meigs - Any time a Meigs team has a Wolfe playing, you need to take notice. Catie is a superb athlete and I know some of their other players were tall and athletic on the volleyball court.

#7 ... Trimble - They can truly 'bully' people around with their size, but lack of quickness and ball handling is a concern.

#8 ... Eastern - The addition of Turley makes a big difference. The Eagles could slide up the chart fairly quickly, I just am not sold on the rest of the team.

1. Alexander Spartans. - Way too many athletes. Made it to final 4 last year and only lost one player.
2. Waterford Wildcats. - 3 great players.
3. Federal Hocking Lancers - Butcher and Dunfee. and can run and play D.
4. Nelsonville York Buckeyes - Kim Kline.
5. Eastern Eagles. - New Coach, and good workers.
6. Vinton County Vikings - Two good players. Dixon can play.
7. Trimble Tomcats - Big and Slow. But some good sophomores.
8. Meigs Maurders - Could Be Good.

Noone else is going to agree with me after the first 4 but thats the way i see it.

Turley did not play and probably won't. They won, pretty or not, without her.

This one is easy...Waterford is hands down the best team in the TVC. Their matchup with Alex on Saturday will show just how good they are. I would like to see Alexander try to go through Africentric to get to the final 4.

Alexander and Waterford go head-to-head on Saturday with Waterford I think being the home team. That will decide the top two in 93Bulldogs' rankings.

If Alexander wins, then Wildcat08 will eat a large plate of crow. If Waterford wins, then he or she may know what he or she is talking about.

Lady Eagles came off with a win over Meigs even with out the Turley Girl...Give the Lady Eagles credit that are playing....It takes a whole team to win a game not just one player....Keep up the hard work....

My money's on the LADY CATS for Saturdays matchup. Even though Alexander may have some good athletes, I don't think they have enough to match up with the girls from Waterford. Coach Close will have them ready. Waterford has many players that can put up double-digits on any given night. BEST OF LUCK LADY CATS.

wildcat08- after the scrimmage at alex i can assure you that africentric does NOT want to play Alex!!!! with one week of practice alex handled africentric. Anything can happen and waterford has a legitimate shot since this game is early in the year. when midseason hits alex will be the best team this side of oak hill.

The Alex vs Waterford game is at Waterford.....JV game will start at 6 with Varsity to follow. Should be a great game. I do believe that the last time Alex traveled to Waterford they game home with a win in overtime or two. Great group of young ladies playing and very deep. Fresh legs is always a plus. Great atheletes!!!!! Good luck Lady Spartans...Play strong and bring home a WIN!!!

Alexander did not make it to the final four last year. That was 2 years ago.

Alex was beaten by Oak Hill in the Regional finals last year in a close game. However, they did only graduate 1 player.
