Congrats indeed. I remember her playing in the Jackson League in 6th grade. She was an excellent shooter then and she kept working hard on her game and also stayed committed to being in fantastic condition by also excelling at cross country.

congrats again breanna I enjoy watching the rest of your senior career. You deserve it.

That's the center I was thinking of....did she get over 1,000? I thought she did.

The guard that ran alongside of Jamie is bugging me. Kelly McCorkle? I'm probably making that up.

Tabitha Davis played with her too but don't think she was even close to 1000 pts.

Some others might come to me but that is all I can think of now. Jamie and Anna also had over 500 assists.

A few that I am pretty sure that they didn't get 1,000 but would be interested in how many they did have would be Randi Gilliland, Andrea McNeal, and Lacey Adkins. Randi was so consistent, from the top of the press I don't know how many lay-ups she got. She prob. shot 70% from the field for the year. Andrea worked hard, gotta a lot of fast break points and developed into a good 3 point shooter. Lacey became one of the best Lady Oaks her last couple of years. She worked very hard to get better and just had one of those touches that if she got the ball around the basket you knew it was going to roll in.

So basically, I did awfully darn good for an outsider eh? The one I didn't list was Davis but I confuse all the Davis and Adkins players. Keys was the 5'7ish PG during the Hammond years? Excellent players.

Slone didn't make it?

Jamie had 500 assists? Seems like she had that the dozen games I watched her throughout her career. Did she have 500 rebounds and steals? If not she would have if not for missing her junior season. A couple of quadruple doubles and some of the craziest triple doubles ever. Seems like one game she had something like 27 pts, 22 steals and 21 assists.

I had the pleasure of witnessing this great achievement along with my daughter who turns to me when it happened and said "Dad I want to be like Bre and I am gonna work hard to get there." Best money I ever spent to encourage my lil one. Congrats to Bre, her friends, family and teammates. It wont be the last time I bring my daughter to watch this fine group of young ladies. Also want to compliment the Waverly team, coaches and fans for honoring Bre with a standing ovation. True class act!!!!!!!
