Ironton plays Warren at the Conley Center in Ironton Friday, any thoughts on this game?

Don't know much about Ironton but I do know that the Lady Warriors are coming off of an impressive come from behind win against Marietta at Marietta. Mallory Brooks has looked upstoppable. Dolak is really playing well and Chevalier, Santini, and McKenna always play solid ball.

Bad news is they will be without starter Darci Leffingwell after that nasty collision between her head and the floor. 10 stitches and a concussion.

good luck lady warriors

actually four stitches

Lady Warriors should be in good shape if they can play a full game...I've seen enuf this year to know this is a heck of a team if the offense is running well...if their O gets slowed down, they all struggle.

Ironton 70 - Warren 48

Ironton is a pretty good, well coached ball club.

Warren had no answer for their physical size inside.

Sounds like Ironton should do very well this season. If it wasn't an off night for Warren Ironton should put up some big Ws.

Unfortunately for the Lady Warriors, their tallest player is 5'9" freshman Kasey White...and, as with most freshmen, she's still learning the ropes.

One loss doesn't define a season, no matter how bad it was, and the Lady Warriors will rebound just fine...losses give a team a chance to see real problems, and look at them fully. it's not always easy to evaluate problems after a win, but, a loss...

Go Blue!

They need to learn teamwork and not be jealous of other players. I have seen all the games and it is very clear to me and some other that certain girls are not passing the ball except to each other. If the coach doesn't see it and address it then the season will soon go down hill fast. They have a chance to do better than most think but not like this.

I think wizard is right. Theres no "i" in team and if they play as a team they could go far this year.

Go Blue!

Warren, but I do not know the score. It wasn't close for most of the contest.
