SHL is looking a little odd this year with Eastern Brown already having 3 losses. Lynchburg may well be the team to beat this year although Ripley, Fayetteville and North Adams are all right there.
Next week will be a big indicator of how good North Adams is as they have Ripley at home on Monday and Fayetteville on Thursday.

Wonder how long it has been since an Eastern girls team has started out a season 0-3?? The tide may be turning. I agree that North Adams may be a force this year, their girls are young but they will work/play hard. Look for Peebles girls to start heading back that direction as well, a lot of talent coming up through the ranks.

I'd say you would have to go back a few years to find an Eastern Brown team that started 0-3. In fairness I think they have a couple players who are hurt or at least that's the way it looked when they played at North Adams. I think there are currently 4 teams in the SHL that have the best chance to win it at this point. Lynchburg is my current favorite followed by Fayetteville, North Adams, and Ripley. Next week will give a good indicator of how the 3 teams stack up after Lynchburg.
