What is over and back??? The mid court violation!!

It's when any part of your body or ball has crossed the line and then back again.Hence the calls name "over and back"Alot of people dont think it's the ball and get called for it.I've seen it happen many times especially on the college level.

Wrong!!

A player can be across the line dribbling the ball in the backcourt. He can still go back if needed. Also he can be dribbling the ball in the frontcourt while standing in the backcourt and and bring the ball back into the backcourt. All body and ball must be across in order to not be allowed to cross back into the backcourt.

Regulator-Are you an official?? Have you been??? You are also wrong, be careful-"all body"????

You need to have 3 points across the line, both feet and the ball. If all three points are not across the palyer can move back and forth until all are across. Also the ball can not be passed back across the line after those three points have crossed.
