Gallipolis girls trip Fairland, 63-42

Host Gallipolis downed Fairland, 63-42, in a non-league game on the GAHS planks Monday night.
Gallipolis, now 4-2, led 17-12. 32-16 and 53-32 at the quartermarks.
For GAHS,four players finished in double figures, led by Amy Noe's 14 points. Rachel Jones added 13, Tara Young had 12 and Allie Troester 10. The latter paced GAHS on the boards with 13.
McKenzie Rucker led Fairland (1-3) with 17 points.
Gallipolis will be idle until Dec. when the Blue Angels travel to Portsmouth.
In Monday's reserve game, the Little Angels rallied from a 26-13 deficit after three periods to edge Fairland's Little Dragons, 32-28.
Gallipolis outscored the visitors 19-2 in the final period to pull out the win.
