Logan BB: Looking ahead the girls have 5 consectivie road games. Zanesville, Marietta, and Warren with the Heath tourney sandwiched in there. A real challenge indeed. Not back in the confines of Jims gym until the 13th of January.

Logan BB: Logan girls lost a tough one at Zanesville today 40 -35. Game tied with one minute left in game after Logan being down by 8 late in game. The girls have Marietta and Warren coming up next in the league with both games on the road.

The JV team won big and looked really awesome. Great ball movement and finishing good.

Heath tourney up next this Monday.\

Logan BB: Varsity dropped 2 games at the Heath Tourney. I think both games will help the team the rest of the season. Some good things happened and the girls played with intensity.

The JV continue on with their very succesful season winning both games and the championship. Congrats to all the girls.

Does anyone know how the freshmen ladies are doing this season? After all they will be the
future "team" for the Lady Chiefs.

Logan BB: The overall record of the freshman team is unk to me. They do have a core of talented players. The one issue I would note is the amount of players on the team. About seven I believe. IMO the future of the Logan Girls basketball is quite bright as the present Sophomore class is one of best overall groups to come along in the recent years. The seed for the program is planted early somewhere around the 3rd grade. The participation is good at this age in Logan and has been for quite some while as noted by our past and present teams. Many girls also play summer ball and this has great value in their skill advancement. Actually all of our futures are in the hands of these young people.

Freshmen girls are 6-1

They will be playing in the championship game Sat. at the OU Zanesville Holiday Tournament. Last Monday they beat MT. Ver. in double overtime to advance to the championship round - with only 6 girls! These young ladies proved that they have the heart and the will to win.

The varsity and junior varsity travel to Marietta Saturday in a must win situation for Logan.

Thanks for the updates on not only the freshmen squad, but also the jv and varsity squads. According to the LDN however, they had the freshmen listed at 5-1! Have to keep watch and see what turns up. I agree with Logangrad, Good Luck Lady Chiefs in the game against Marietta.
Good Luck to the young freshmen squad too. Six players! Wow! Nice job ladies!

Logan BB: Five seniors presently on the varsity squad, three juniors and two sophmores. Marietta has played Logan 6 or 7 against 5 at times in the past IMO. The 32 minute and 4 second game there comes to mind very vividly. We really need a win or really two these next two Saturdays. As of right now Cassady is questionable for Marietta game.

Logan BB: Marietta 46 Logan 36

First qtr made the game catch up with Marietta up 17 to 4. Logan was within 5 points several times but did not finish on many opportunities. Missed 25 2 point shots and half of these were point blank. Warren Local up next.
