The Spartans beat the Juneau girls 67 to 58 in their Final game in Alaska. Didn't get the first quarter score but it was 29-25 Alex at half, then 45-39 Alex at the end of the 3rd and of course 67-58 final.
Way to go ladies, keep up the good work when you get back to Ohio. May the team, parents, and coaches have a very safe trip back home.

Congrats to the Lady Spartans. I want to be the first non-Alex fan to applaud them for what they have done over the last week. I truly hope that it was an enjoyable, and rewarding experience. That is said with all sincerity.
More to come. Safe trip home, and get some rest. You're gonna need it, once you get back down to the lower 48......

Christy, we were up 14 13 at the end of the first. Just spoke with the wife and they are starting their trips to the airport. Expected back in Ohio around 1:20am. Nothing like getting to spend my New Year's Eve in an airport!!! Sounds like the girls had a GREAT time and a successful basketball trip!!! Prayers for a safe trip home would be appreciated.
