Any thoughts on the outcome and keys to the game, which is at Unioto @ 1:30 in the afternoon ?

Unioto wins 54-47

Chloe Cottrell had 15, all in the 1st half and I don't think any other Lady Shermans were in double figures, possibly Arledge though. Freshman Erin Bane had a very solid game off the bench as well.
Adena was led by Ashley Jordan with 24 points and 14 rebounds. One of the Snyder twins was also in double figures, but I'm not sure which one.

Unioto started off sluggish, but was able to take an 8 point lead into the half, built it to about 14-16, but Adena started to chip away and missed a 3 with 30 seconds left that would've cut it to 1.

Unioto is now 11-0 on the season and travels to Westfall on either Thursday or Saturday of next week. Adena is now 7-5(6-2).

Adena must have came to play and scrapped the entire game. Need to say good job on the effort to the Warriors!

I think Adena played probably their best game of the year. Coach Snyder and team are to be commended on an outstanding effort. Ashley Jordan controlled the 4th quarter for Adena, and were it not for some really key defensive stops in the last minute, the Lady Shermans could have been in real trouble. I thought the Synder girls shot much better than the 1st game, and put some real pressure on the UHS D in the 1st half.

I thought Chloe Cottrill played a fantastic 1st half and Jenae Driggs had every loose ball and rebound for the Shermans in the 2nd half. Erin Bane gave a real boost to the Shermans and the subs made some key plays. Unioto did not rebound particularly well and a couple of their starters had less than normally productive offensive games.

But, Unioto has enough kids to find someone to get it done, and they did. Congrats to them and to Coach Driggs on #201 at the U. Adena will be a tough opponent in the DIII tourney if they play at that level.
