A topic for anything to be discussed in-and-around the TVC ... Ohio or Hocking Divisions.

[*] The TVC web site has pretty much been turned over to basketball season ... Home page: http://trivalleyconference.com/

[*] I've also added a 'road to the Convo' page that tracks records of the three sectionals which TVC teams are in ... Sectional records: http://trivalleyconference.com/Schedules.html

[*] Doing a certain type of leaderboard is almost impossible, but I will try and keep a 'top performers' list going all season ... http://trivalleyconference.com/Leaderboards.html

[*] I appreciate any photos sent to me and will use as many as I can throughout the web site; but I also have a 'photos page' ... http://trivalleyconference.com/Blogs.html

ANY PHOTOS CAN BE SENT TO ME AT [email protected]

I ALSO HAVE A TRI-VALLEY CONFERENCE FACEBOOK PAGE THAT I CREATED DURING FOOTBALL SEASON - FEEL FREE TO POST ANYTHING OR ADD ANY PHOTOS THAT YOU WISH: http://www.facebook.com/#!/tvcohio

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

AGAIN, FEEL FREE TO POST ANYTHING ABOUT THE TVC ... I WILL KEEP THE TOPIC AS A 'STICKY' SO WE CAN POST SCORES THROUGHOUT THE SEASON.

SOME KEY MATCH-UPS FOR DEC. 1ST:

Waterford vs Belpre
Eastern vs Trimble

(Can either the Golden Eagles or Tomcats slow down the two powerhouses in the Hocking Division?)

Guess not.

I am amazed how Eastern and Waterford are able to dominate year in and year out with under 100 girls in their respective schools.

Eastern has 9 legitimate girls. The rebounding was outstanding. Trimble is way down this year though. Trimble went up 2-0 and eastern them scored 28 straight points to go up 28-2. Eastern the. Took it easy. I think eastern and Waterford have a lot of respect for each other and all 3 games between them this year will be outstanding. I say 3 bc there will be a tournament game between the 2. I'm not sure how these two schools have separated themselves so far above the rest of the hocking schools

I'm not sure either - but I am glad there are 2 teams (not just one) ... It makes for a great rivalry.

I would honestly put Eastern girls vs Waterford girls as one of the 'best' rivalries in the TVC (both Hocking and Ohio and boys sports.)

The Athens-Nelsonville-York football game has got really, really big ... Wellston/VC share a rivalry in everything ... Trimble/NY have a nice little feud but are in different divisions ... I mean, Eastern/Waterford volleyball and Eastern/Waterford girls basketball has to be right there at the top.

I see the list up for the sectionals for the teams by record. Is there a reason South Gallia girls r under Eastern?
