How is Kasey White? Is she back yet? And if she isn't how long 'till she is?
How will this affect her club season? Also Halle, is she back?

Mallory has signed to play bball in college, and as far as I know the only one on the team to do so!! She is one hard worker and plays to win!

Club Season? For What...I thought it was still basketball season?!
It was on the news that Brooks signed at Wheeling Jesuit!

If I am not mistaken the varsity lost by a wider margin at home last month, so they must of done better last nite right ? I didn't make it to Z-ville, so I am just wondering.

The girls lost to Zanesville, 50-42, which is a smaller margin than last time.
Kasey White hurt her tailbone but is progressing nicely, there is a chance she will be able to return before the end of the season.
Halle's shoulder is not fully recovered yet, I don't know what her return timetable is.
The Varsity girls, I believe are 7-7, and play at Chillicothe on Saturday night.

One: Warren changed almost the entire coaching staff, and that should explain the SMALL dropoff last year. May I remind everyone that Warren finished a very respectable 13-9?
Two: All the experience except for one starter and two role-players graduated from last year's team. None of the girls (except one) who started for the league champion two years ago play for Warren any longer. No team is as effective when they go from two or three scoring weapons to having only one proven one.
Three: The four juniors who have been starting don't have a lot of varsity experience, and they've had a rough time making the adjustment. But they love the game, they're trying their hardest, and I don't believe Warren will be in last place long. These four juniors will all be back, and some good sophomores and freshmen will be ready to compete for playing time and possibly a starting job.
Warren doesn't have experience or any division 1 talent playing right now, and they did for a long time. Every program has a down year. This coaching staff is adjusting to the team now and I have little doubt that the Warren Lady Warriors will be a threat the rest of this season and the potential to do big things next winter.

Can you tell me who except Clay has played D1 in the last ten years?

I don't think he necessarily meant d1 talent but we did have alot of star players dating back from around 12 years ago.

Hey teach123,
This forum isn't the place to carry out personal vendettas, a little support for the team and program might be nice.
Mallory Brooks, 1,000th career point on Saturday at Chilli. Congrats!

Apparently Teach123 doesn't have anything better to do but put down Coach and the Lady Warrior program. From what I seen Sat. nite the program is not in that bad of shape. The coaches were doing their job which is to have the ladies prepared for the contest, and the players most importantly, showed Chilli and myself, that they can play as a team and at a high level...........Great game ladies keep workin' hard.

Isn't this thread supposed to be about the "team" not just the coaches ?

JV @ 6, Varsity @ 7:30.
Game is still on, anybody have a scoop?

Philo Varsity over Warren, 64-59...Warren led most of the game and just couldnt seem to pull everything together in the waning minutes. McKenna with 15 points, Dolak with about 13 points, Brooks held to 8.
Warren JV over Philo JV, 35-31.
