Whitney needs less than 100 points to reach the 1,000 point plateau.

Very good game to watch...Smith is a great player. Proud of the Vikings at least giving the Spartans a game.
Viking junior Tori Dixon needs about 35 to get 1000 for her career.

If all she needs is 35, then she has a good shot against Wellston on Thursday.

According to Grillo and Thacker doing the game on radio, Dixon needed 52 before the game started. I believe she scored 17 tonight, but I am not sure.

I heard that Smith had 20 rebounds and 8 steals to go with her 35 points. If this is true it sounds like she played one heck of a game. Good luck to both girls in getting their thousand.

Dixon doesnt have 1000 yet. Would be nice to get before the end of her junior year though.
