you would have to think stan dodridge would be interested with his daughter being in jr high next year. he has varsity experience and would do a good job.
are the jr high coaches an option?
would they go to the outside?
whoever takes it is getting a load of talent blessed upon them.

Don't know the reason but it's a shame. This is about the 5th coach to "resign" from high school coaching in the past week or so. What's up?

Copley, Minford Boys Basketball
Brickey, West Softball
Reese, SW Boys Basketball
That's what I can come up with - I might be thinking of Green's coach too back in the season.

Re: Peebles Coach Resigns
Anyone know why Stevens resigned? Will his assistant Hoop get the job? I think he does AU ball doesn't he?
Gue resigned because of Chesapeake's "no administrator shall coach" rule.

Re: Peebles Coach Resigns
whoever they pick they need to look at someone who is wanting to be there long term with all the talent coming up.
Re: Peebles Coach Resigns
Peebles is still a couple of years away from competing at the top of the SHL. Hopefully the new coach and more importantly the parents understand that.
Re: Peebles Coach Resigns
Any word on who is interested in the job? As said before, a pretty good amount of talent coming up in the near future.
Re: Peebles Coach Resigns
some names i have heard are: Hoop (jv coach), Pryor (8th grade coach), Doddridge, McFarland, and Carson.

These are some of the names that are floating around. I am sure that there are other people in the community that would be interested in this job (such as Brock Caldwell, the JV girls coach at NA who is the elementary gym teacher at Peebles)
Frankie Stephens did a great job in his stint as coach and I will miss going against him.
Hopefully, the administration at PHS will pick a coach who will continue to the best interest of the program in mind.

Doesn't everyone bleed red! I mean I think that is basic physiology. Just wondering!
