Their last meeting was one for the memories. I have no doubt this one will raise some people's blood pressure as well.

South Point won the first meeting 32-30.I expect this game to be played the same way.

Both teams are very aggressive and physical. I expect this will be a hard fought game between two great teams. I hope South Point comes out on top!

I have really enjoyed watching Ironton play this year in the few times I have seen them. They are extremely athletic. The only problem they have is the scoring droughts they go on sometimes. In the games I have seen, they went on scoring droughts of varied length. The one they went on in the District Final against Zane Trace about cost them the title (of course it was for nearly 10 min of game time!!). And they still won.

If they can keep their drought to a minimum in this game, I see them winning it by 6.

South Point's speed and athleticism will be the difference in this game. SP win advance.

Saw both teams play Saturday and can see why they have low scoring games. Neither team was overly impressive. South Point seemed sluggish compared to the way they played the Lady Oaks. Should be a good game.

Good Luck to the Lady Pointers. Glad the game is the early one instead of the 8:00 time. I am also glad to see that the game is at Lancaster where the girls played last year. The convo and it's size I think really intimidated the girls and they didn't play as well Sat. as they are capable of!

This will be a rediculously good game as it was at South Point towards the end of the regular season. That being said I feel that South Point will win due to their athleticism with Fletcher, Leighty and Taylor being probably the fastest three girls on the floor. Although Coach Graham has scouted the pointers since that loss to them earlier this year. Also, I agree with an above post I think its cool that they let the girls cut down the nets at the convo like the boys have been able to for years but i think its better for them to be in a high school gym due to the intimidation factor at the convo. I have played at the convo and during warmups looking around it did freak me out for a second but then the competitive edge part of me kicked in.

I think that South Point is the better team but have a feeling that Crockrel will have a good game to push Ironton to a 4 point win.

They usually clear the gym. So you will need to buy separate tickets.
