Former Leesburg Fairfield Coach Kevin Fouch

Today the Fairfield community lost a valued member of our family with the passing of former Lady Lion Basketball coach Kevin Fouch. Coach Fouch served as the FHS Lady Lions' varsity coach from 1991-2006 and held many coaching records for the Fairfield Girls Basketball program, including most years as the varsity coach (16) and most wins. His teams won six Sectional Championships in 1994, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2005, and 2006. They won a District Championship in 1994 and made the only Regional Tournament appearance in that same year.
Kevin will always be remembered for his love for the kids, his huge smile and even bigger heart. Kevin touched many lives in a very positive way over the years and will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Fouch family!!

Visitation is Wed. from 5-8 at the school. Kevin was a fixture of the community of Leesburg as he served as a board member of the summer little league baseball and softball, transportation supervisor for the school, former maintenace supervisor at Fairfield, and formerly my first base coach on the Fairfield baseball team way back in 1985. It was a shock to the community that Kevin had passed as the attended the Lady Lion game at Fayetteville the night before. He also sent a bag of brownies and a very heartfelt note to the team as they were going for the small school division title that night. Three weeks ago we had Kevin Fouch Night and over 50 former players and assistant coaches turned out to honor Kevin. It was a touching tribute to a man who had given so much to the school and to the student athletes over his many years at the helm. Thank You Kevin you will be sorely missed and God Bless your family during this time.
