Ironton's Brea Tackett signs with Capital University

Saw in the Ironton Tribune Sunday that Brea Tackett has signed to play basketball for Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. A BIG congrats to Brea on her success as a Lady Fighting Tiger and continued success at Capital University. I have had the opportunity to watch this individual play for the last 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed her leadership and talent that she brought to the court. Not only was she a huge asset to this Tiger Team but was told that she is top of her class and highly respected by her peers at Ironton High School!!! Brea received an abundance of honors in basketball this season (refer to sports page of the Tribune) and was named MVP of the Ironton Classic played in December as I was there to not only watch the Lady Tigers but many other talented teams during this classic!!! You will be highly missed by your fans, coaches and teammates and want to wish you the best as you further your basketball career. I am an avid fan and will continue to support "The Tigers" as long as my health will allow. Looking forward to seeing what the Lady Tigers have instore for next season.
