Marietta will have tough hard working team. Pressure Defense all the time. Looking for Warren to surprise a few people.

Logan returns a strong senior class with some really talented underclassmen. The coaching staff has tenure in the league. I guess we will see how far this takes the ladies.

Jackson will not have a great deal of varsity experience but should be loaded with potential and the new coaching staff seems to be doing well.
It should be very interesting watching them improve and gel as the season moves along.
A pretty high ceiling IMO.

Time passes fast but I thought it was just two years ago that Jackson was playing a lot of freshman???????????

Only returning starters with major varisty experience : Emeleigh Cooper (Sr), Nicole Chapman (Sr) and Meredith Harless (Jr). So Kari Jenkins saw some valuable time last year as a freshman on varsity but played more time on JV it seemed. Jr Jessica Webb saw some minutes on varsity last year, soph Kennedy Shasteen saw some minutes as well.
To me that is not a lot of varsity experience for a varsity team.

Just watched the Jackson girls vs Piketon.
I liked what I saw. I imagine many girls will get many minutes on jv and varsity. I can see 3 freshman making significant contributions to the varsity team.....and 2 others getting good minutes and doing good things as well. If those 14-15 girls buy into what Coach Allen and Coach Walburn are trying to do....Jackson can be very good and very deep....maybe sooner than many expect.
They will be a fun team to watch.

I don't know the scores but Jackson won the 7 10:00 quarters I watched. Piketon had some nice size on their starting 5 of varsity. Jackson subbed in and out 15 girls at different times using a tremendous mixture. An outsider coming into the scrimmage midway would have no idea of who the starting 5 was for Jackson....but they would leave thinking Jackson is going to be loaded on the JV team with many OPTIONS for subs on the varisty team.

Jackson's girls played very well against us last night. I was very impressed with their work ethic and guard play!!!! They will have a solid year. I wish them the best of luck this year!!!
