Good Luck to all teams during their season. Lady Dragons Basketball is seeking players for their upcoming season. The 16U Team last year went 17 out of 200 at Penn State and lost by 2 during their last game, or they would have finished better. We are months away from playing, but it is never too early to plan for AAU. We have a very low fee to play, and play the biggest tournaments in the area. Feel free to contact us for more information. what months does the season run ?

Generally late March early April until July(Usually June is final month, but some national tournaments are in July)

Short answer is when school ball is over.

Are there still spots available for high school girls?

What is the time commitment looking like as far as practice etc? Also where are the practices being held?

yes there is still a few spots open for high school girls, you can give me a pm if you wish. Your questions can be answered on the FAQ page in the website mentioned but last year we practiced at the Elite Sports Center in Parkersburg, a really wonderful facility, and are looking to do so again.

Personally, im looking for sophomores, as I will be coaching that team. But all the teams, as of now, with the exception of the 8th grade, has at least one opening.

16/17u is by tryout only, and all welcome to try out. Ill post the time when it is finalized.

15u (soph) looking for 3 more especially a few guards.

14u (fresh) looking for at most 2 more

8th grade is full

12u (7th) looking for about 2 more

We will be having open tryouts for grades 9-10 for any remaining roster spots. Tryouts will consist of 2 days beginning on March 8th at 6 pm at Belpre Middle school. Juniors will have open tryouts the following week with location TBD.
