no we don't do that we have a little freshman who usually is the first one off the bench.

Because all coaches have the intention to play the kids that are not the best and do whatever they can trying not to win.

Although the player you are referring to with the stat line may not be very good, it is probably one of the best they have to put on the floor. Apply at the board office or AD's office for his job next year if you know more than he does and can run the program better.

Coaches never win in these instances. Regardless of who they play or how much they play a player they will be second guessed or criticised. Part of the job for better or worse. That's not to say however that there aren't instances where the criticism is undeserved. Anyone who thinks that there aren't instances of playing time being awarded based on things not related to basketball ability/talent is naive regardless of how isolated these instances may be.
