21-7 Eastern at the qtr. It was 21-3 with a minute left, and a couple of turnovers helped Manchester. I'm out, this isn't going to be close. King James or one of the Eastern faithful can take it from here.

Clay barely survived a scare from Belpre, If Eastern plays like they did tonight they wont get beat by Clay

As tourny play proves, one games doesnt make ur run, as long as you get the win, believe Clay will be ready, sometimes you struggle against opponents that you should beat easily, especially in tournament time where it is do or die..I believe Clay will prevail

falconburger, lol..Eastern mandhandled Belpre twice, and i saw the Clay-Belpre game, and Belpre should have won the game. Im taking Eastern by 25

Actually eaglefan1 ... The Eastern/Clay match-up is a district championship game ...

If both Eastern and Waterford wins (that's if Waterford beats Paint Valley Saturday - and then defeates its opponent at the Convo, which could be either Eastern Pike or Notre Dame) ... Then, Eastern & Waterford would play one another in the first round of the Regionals at Pickerington.

EF1, I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that Belpre should have won last night. Clay played an awful first half and had their primary scorer on the bench for most of the second quarter. They outscored Belpre 37 - 16 in the second half to win decisively. After watching the second game, I was very impressed with Eastern. They could easily blow Clay off the court ... but they will be playing a team that is much better than Belpre.

Clay played a bad 1st half and Belpre played a horrible 2nd half. I am with EF1, Belpre lost there mind in the 2nd. If they would have played average the 2nd half and stuck to there game plan - they win by 10. BUT, ifs are like, well you know the rest. Clay won, congrats to them. BUT again, they get 1 more game. Eastern can play average and beat Clay. 17-5. WOW. Who do they play?
