PORTSMOUTH SUMMER LEAGUE

Portsmouth girls basketball will be hosting a summer league, the dates our June 9,23,30 and will start at 5p.m. the entry fee is $175 and each team will receive four games a day plus t-shirts. There will be a single elimination overtime tournament on the 30th to determine the league champions. Varsity and JV teams are welcome. We will take the first 12 teams and already have 7 teams signed up. All games will be officiated by OHSAA officials. For more info call Tyson Phillips 740-352-2286.

1st nite tonight. Waverly looked nice, Zane trace has a great 3 point shooter. SV and NB played to a tie or 1 point game. really liked the way SV's new coach was interacting with the girls. looks like they found a good one. don't really know many final scores. ND was missing 3 probable starters. lost to portsmouth by 2 .

Thanks to Coach Phillips and everyone involved in hosting the league on behalf of the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings. Well ran league and good competition.
