Its tournament time and NY is looking to make a push in the tournament. NY is playing very good basketball right now. Don't know very much about Ironton. Leave thought on the game.

Down year for the Lady Tigers but also not a team you would want to face in the first round.

Ironton is a team that can give NY fits. They play a decent schedule, and have nothing to lose. NY has played decent all year. If NY plays well they will win, if not, its one and done this year. This could be the last year we say that too as they will just keep getting better.

Proud of the lady bucks. They never gave up even when they were down early in the game. NY played hard and not having starting point guard Angela Meade really hurt them when it came to breaking the press of ironton. Proud of the lady bucks and good luck next season.

The Buckeyes were without their starting point guard and it showed; the Ironton Tigers were able to pull the upset.

I was there to scout this game last night. In my opinion, one of the strangest games I have witnessed (strange not the best word to use but can't think of another word for it). NY looked bad for 3 quarters and we even talked about leaving at the end of the third, but then almost as if someone turned on a switch, NY started playing and Ironton had little answers. Ironton girls should be proud though of how they responded to the NY run.
