Fort Frye has an uphill battle.

FF tourney road: St Clairsville 57-31, Union Local(17-4) 36-30,Tusky Valley (11-11) 47-33, West M (19-4) 50-39

Africentric: Heath (81-34),Mount Gilead (73-37), Johnstown Monroe (91-57)

Who has beat Africentric? I read one of their losses was to Northland who is in the sweet 16 in Div 1. Why are they in our regional this year? No one has come close to them so far in the tourney. I'm hoping Fort Frye pulls off the win but I'm afraid its going to be Africentric by 30. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win it all. I hope I'm wrong!

I hope that the Lady Cadets prove me wrong, but I just really have the feeling that this one is going to be painful, and there's nothing they or their coach can do about it. Reminds me of all those years that Waterford had to go to Picktown and play this AAU team in the tournament, unfortunately.

Yeah, this could be really bad, or maybe not. Teams like Africentric kind of make a mockery of the OHSAA

I am gonna kick the old dead horse but I think private schools should have their own tourney. And yes a mockery is being made of the ruling body!

Take a Look at DIV. IV Pickerington.....Eastern vs three church schools ...with no boundaries.

Fort Frye's boys had to play an "AAU team" in the '99 state semi-final, so I don't think we have any illusions about what we're up against. Waterford hung around with the Lady Nubians and had fairly respectable scores against them once or twice, so that gives me hope that this Fort Frye team can hang around and make this interesting at the least.

Believe me, I certainly hope so. I was at a couple of those Waterford/Africentric games and yes, the Lady cats fought hard, but just didn't have it at the end. I'm rooting for the Lady Cadets, and hope that they surprise everyone and pull out the victory!

Only 4 out of the 20 Div 4 schools in the central district are public. So there will always be "church schools" at the pickerington regional. Especially this year because 2 central district teams went to the regional.

It was Harvest Prep that Waterford almost beat. Best game was Sina King's SR year (2 yrs ago?).

Yes, enigmaac, 2 years ago at reg final loss to harvest prep in overtime. Speaking of Sina, she was named today to the second team all MAC as a sophmore. Great job Sina!

I'm guessing most all of Washington Co. will be rooting for a Lady Cadet victory tonight.
