North Adams is now 10 - 1 on the year after winning the McDonald's Holiday Classic Championship on Saturday night. Been looking great so far this season! The defense has been as good as any one in the Southeast district and Emily Fite has got to be ranked as one of the best players in the region! Hopefully we can keep it up!

I've not had the fortune of watching the Fite girl on the basketball court....I did get to see her in track a few years back and she was a tall and talented athlete that moved well. Slamdunk....I know you are from North Adams but how is she compared to Laney Lewis....Lewis is definitely having one of the top seasons in the SE D3....but know you guys beat them. The 6'4 girl from Fairland will be hard to beat out of top player in the entire district...but I think there are two voting districts for postseason awards.

I had the privilige of watching North Adams play Adena at the Zane Trace Classic and was impressed with both team's defense. I believe Adena ended up winning by around 10, something like 40-30. That was a great matchup between Grigsby and Fite, but I thought the difference was Adena was better in players 2 - 7. That win by Adena is looking better and better as the year goes on. I haven't seen North Adams since, but I'm sure their younger players are getting better and Coach Davis does an excellent job.

There are some really talented players in D3 this year.

Tori Leader
Emily Fite
Jenny Grigsby
Laney Lewis
Tera Stapleton

That may be your 1st Team All Southeast District right there. Where are these young ladies going to play in college?

They started out something like 1-3. I believe they have won 5 or 6 in a row now and are around 7-3 on the year.

My bad - I did not have Crooksville listed on the TVC web site as a DIII team in Jackson ... I will fix that and keep track of their record from now on.
