Why was this game not played tonight? Looks like the only game around that was cancelled.

Boys game cancelled Friday was moved to Saturday and girls game got bumped to Monday. Monday must have been an open date for both schools. Tip off for JV game set for 5:30.

That's what happens when your boys bball coach is the ad. The girls get the backseat in scheduling.

Wow, so a rescheduled boys game bumps a regularly scheduled girls game? Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this? What other schools do this?

Girls coach is the principal. Maybe it was two guys getting together and deciding when both games could be played in a timely manner! With tourney draw looming nobody wants to be making up games at tourney time. As a parent, Monday worked out better for me anyhow.

I don't see a problem with this. Playing the games at the same time would have forced me to miss one or the other.

Weather and timing caused the schedule change. Had a good turnout for both teams. Athens had senior night ceremony. It was a dandy game. Lady Oaks out played the host for 15 of 16 1st half minutes. Seemed like they left a little in the locker room at half time and couldn't play at the same energy level in the 2nd half. Need to put 4 quarters together against good teams.
